Clinical Specialties

These are some of the concerns I commonly help clients address in therapy. While this list isn't exhaustive, I have experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health and life challenges. If you don't see your specific concern listed, please reach out. I'd be happy to discuss your needs and determine whether my approach is a good fit for you.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

Sometimes events and early stressors can leave a lasting, negative imprint. I love using EMDR with clients to neutralize traumatic experiences so they can live freer, less reactive lives. It's an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and other conditions. Learn more.

Men's Issues

Men face challenges that others may not be attuned to, such as higher suicide rates (men die by suicide at nearly 4 times the rate of women in the U.S. (National Institute of Mental Health, 2025), performance expectations, and more. I work with straight, bisexual, gay men, and men of all backgrounds. Learn more.

"Time heals everything," except that adage is often untrue. Oftentimes, when we experience trauma, we repeat those patterns, repress painful memories, experience emotional activation (rage, anxiety, etc.), and experience intrusive thoughts. Therapy may help you turn a new page and gain peace. Learn more.

Unaddressed Childhood Trauma
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

Traumatic, embarrassing, or stressful events lead us to subconsciously believe untrue things about ourselves and the world. CPT can help your mind slow down, tease out automatic, distorted thoughts, and challenge them. With time, changing our thoughts can change how we feel. Learn more.

Insecure (Anxious, Avoidant) Attachment & Relationship Issues

The way we attach in our romantic relationships can greatly impact their quality. Attachment also affects us at work: Anxious attachment is linked to greater job stress, lower job satisfaction, higher turnover intentions, and lower work engagement (Warnock et al., 2024). Therapy can help. Learn more.

Do you spend time overanalyzing conversations in your head? Do you often wonder if you were misperceived by others or judged for being weird or awkward? I help clients feel more at ease in social situations with graded exposure, role plays, cognitive reframing, EMDR, and other tools so they can date, make friends and experience community.
